Cleanroom manufacturing

HMI assemblies place the highest demands on optical and mechanical quality. That is why excellence for us does not begin with the final product, but with the controlled environment in which it is manufactured. Key processes such as touch lamination and optical bonding are carried out entirely in our own cleanroom – from initial handling to the finished assembly. Only in this way can maximum cleanliness, process reliability and consistent quality be guaranteed.

Highlights & equipment

Designed for bubble-free optical bonding – with clearly defined zones, controlled airflow and cleanroom-compatible infrastructure.

Area & structure

250 m² cleanroom area according to ISO 14644-1 (Class 7), plus a separate material and personnel airlock (26 m²) for clean separation of external and production areas.

Pressure cascade for clean zone transitions

A defined, decreasing pressure cascade ensures that air always flows from inside to outside, reliably preventing particle ingress – especially in sensitive bonding zones.

Air cleanliness & particle control

FFU units with H14 HEPA filters generate laminar displacement airflow and remove even the finest particles – essential for bubble-free optical bonding without inclusions.

Climate control

Precisely controlled temperature and humidity (approx. 20 °C, 45–55% r. h.) provide optimal conditions for sensitive materials such as silicones, OCA films, displays and touch sensors.

ESD protection throughout the cleanroom

A conductive ESD floor reliably protects sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge during handling, assembly and final testing.

Clean processes – clean results

Abrasion-resistant, smooth and cleanroom-compatible surfaces allow efficient cleaning and prevent particle build-up – ensuring maximum process reliability for years.

Why cleanroom manufacturing?

Even the smallest particles in the micrometer range can cause visible defects or functional limitations in optical bonding and touch lamination.

That is why we say: only when the entire process chain – from A to Z – is carried out under controlled conditions can perfect results be reproduced consistently.

  • No optical disturbances caused by inclusions
  • High yield and consistent quality
  • Maximum process reliability – even for special formats and small series
